When should you choose mechanical transport with screw conveyors?

Mechanical transport is the ideal solution when:

abrasive materials are being handled that could quickly wear out pneumatic lines;
fragile materials are being handled that risk degradation when subjected to air turbulence;
a low-energy consumption system is required, suitable for relatively short distances;
a robust, easy-to-manage solution with low maintenance is needed;
direct integration with silos, dosing units, or weighing systems is required.

In all other cases—long distances, large flow rates, or the need to distribute material to multiple points—pneumatic transport remains the most suitable solution.
